Send Us Photos

Before your bag leaves your hands, we ask for photos. This lets us give you an honest assessment and a rough quote range, without you making a trip first.

• Six photos: front, back, base, both handles, interior, and hardware close-up
• Let us know the brand, model, approximate age, and what concerns you most
• We respond within 24 hours with a written assessment and a rough price range

In-Person or Drop-Off

Physical Inspection & Authentication

Your bag arrives and we examine it in full. We authenticate it, identify the exact leather type and finish, and document every existing imperfection with honesty.

• Authentication: hardware stamps, stitching, date codes, and materials verified
• Leather identification: type, tanning, surface finish, and treatment history
• Full damage assessment, documented specifically, nothing glossed over
• Anything we cannot restore is flagged clearly before work begins
• Your bag is assigned a unique Job Reference number (GA-YYYY-XXXX)

Condition Photography

Every bag goes through the same ten-shot protocol before a single product touches it. These images are your record, our accountability, and the foundation of your certificate.

Consistent lighting, same angles, every time. No exceptions.

Agreement

Written Quote & Deposit

You receive a firm written quote with a clear scope of work before anything starts. A 50% deposit is required to proceed.

• Written quote sent by email, never verbal only
• 50% deposit to begin; balance collected at handback. No surprises at the end.
• Standard turnaround: 2–4 weeks, confirmed in writing
• Scope states clearly what is and is not covered

The Work

Restoration & Service Log

We log every intervention as we work, not after the fact. Each product used, each technique applied, each unexpected finding photographed and noted. This log becomes the content of your certificate.

• Every service recorded with date and materials used
• Any unexpected findings documented mid-restoration and communicated to you

Return, Certificate & Care Guide

Your bag comes back in its best condition: photographed, wrapped, and accompanied by everything that documents what was done and how to care for it going forward.

• After-photos taken, same ten angles as intake
• Digital Certificate of Restoration issued with a scannable QR card
• Printed care card specific to your leather type
• Wrapped in acid-free tissue inside a dust bag stamped with the GA monogram
